It’s common for a space to feel outdated and ready for a facelift. But at The Chester project, the primary bathroom was downright bizarre. A truly enormous drop-in tub was positioned too close to one of the vanities, so you had to “shimmy” between the two. And the shower was L-shaped, creating a little foyer (and total waste of space).

A new freestanding tub takes up less floor space, but it expands at the top for a comfy soak. The shower is now open and bright, thanks to a glass enclosure. And saying goodbye to the foyer left room for a practical bench.

Keep an eye out—cheeky Chester makes an appearance in this gallery, doing what cats do.
